Originally Paramount Contracting, Inc. was established in 1962 and operated as a S-corporation. In 1983 our surety requested a revision to our Corporate Status and Paramount Contracting, Inc. became Pyramid Constructors, Inc. as a result of the revisions to the Corporate Status.
The Corporate Status of Pyramid Constructors,Inc. remained in effect until July of 2001. Through the recommendations of Pyramid’s financial adviser the Corporate Status of Pyramid was restructured to a Limited Liability Partnership and in August of 2001 Pyramid Constructors, Inc. became Pyramid Constructors, LLP and to date continues to operate as Pyramid Constructors, LLP.
|Steve graduated from the University of Texas in 1965 Business Degree in Real Estate & Finance. While home for the summers, Steve worked at Pyramid learning the family business. Steve became a full time employee for Pyramid in 1966. In 1970, Steve became a partner in Pyramid with his father Saul Friedman who started the company. Saul retired from Pyramid in 1985 and Steve became the sole owner and CEO.|
Director of Operations
|Jeff has been Director of Operations for 14 years with Pyramid Constructors LLP. His responsibilities include: Business Development and Planning, Contract negotiations, Procurement of A&E Services, Facility Assessments, Construction Management, and Design Build. Experiences include: Managed the General Construction of major renovation and new facilities construction, Conducted in depth evaluations of existing and proposed facilities to formulate future Bond, Programming Criteria for numerous School Districts in the Greater Houston Area, Completed over 100 successful projects in the capacity of Project Manager for two local Architectural firms, and Successfully negotiated contracts with the Owner and Architect through the Value Engineering Process. Jeff has a bachelor degree in Science Construction Management.|
|Sam Harrison has over ten years of direct experience in commercial construction. He has served on projects for the City of Houston, Houston ISD, Spring ISD, and for Lamar University. He recently completed a $31.0 Million Dollar project for the U.S. Army. He is experienced in directing all phases of construction, and in CPM Scheduling.|
